Last week, six Year 9 students and five Year 10 students were involved in an exciting initiative called ‘The Brilliant Club’.
The Brilliant Club exists to increase the number of pupils from underrepresented backgrounds progressing to highly selective universities. It does this by mobilising the PhD community to share its academic expertise in state schools
The session last week saw our fantastic students engaged in their first tutorial with their PhD tutor researching “Evidence based conservation: Can we save the rhino?”.
During this unprecedented time for schools, week by week The Brilliant Club is releasing a series of free online resources for pupils. These resources include GCSE workbooks, study skills sessions, masterclasses led by subject experts and university information, advice and guidance. You can access the resources here: https://thebrilliantclub.org/about/
We are so excited that our students are involved in this wonderful programme.
