This morning, Year 11 students Aimee and Faith found a significant amount of money on Highfield Road on their way to school. Admirably, they didn't hesitate in handing it into Mr Sharp as soon as they arrived at school.
The office team then spent the day on a mission to hopefully bring a happy ending to the students' wonderful act of kindness. They posted compliment slips to residents in the surrounding area to ask if anyone had lost anything.
Following an array of calls from some of our neighbours, we are pleased to say that we found the owner who had been working in the area.
He was absolutely thrilled to have his money back and even gifted Aimee and Faith £20 each for their good deed. He Said; "Keep up the good work . . I can't thank you enough"
We are proud of the girls - their actions show that there are so many inspiring young people out there who are able to restore our faith in humanity.
