Below are details of enrichment activities that we normally offer, however due to COVID 19 these are currently under review.
Within the school students have the opportunity to participate in a successful Duke of Edinburgh award scheme programme. The delivery of the scheme is structured to enable students to progress through each level of the award.
Each November high numbers of students are presented with their awards at the Halton Duke of Edinburgh Awards Evening. A number of our past students have achieve the Gold Award and where invited to St James' Palace to be presented with their certificates.
In each award, students are required to demonstrate a progressive and increased level of commitment to the following sections: volunteering skills, physical recreation, and an expedition. Participation in each of the sections encourages and enables students to develop a range of valued skills and qualities in a challenging, enjoyable, co-operative and supportive environment.
