At Saints Peter and Paul we are very keen to give all our students the opportunity to experience a rich and broad curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom. Consequently, next year we will be offering two Enrichment Weeks to all our students in Years 7-11.
During these weeks, the normal curriculum will be suspended and students will be able to choose from a broad range of enrichment activities designed to widen and deepen their range of learning. This has the additional benefit of allowing the remaining 36 weeks of the year to have an uninterrupted focus on teaching and learning that will enhance students’ achievement. A number of activities will be available on and off the School site, including national and international residential trips.
Letters for residential trips will be sent out as each residential is arranged. Further details of all trips can be found on the here and payments can be made in instalments. There will also be a wide and exciting variety of activities on site for the two-thirds of students not involved in residential trips. Details of the day trips, religious retreats and on-site activities available during the Enrichment Weeks will be available closer to the time. These opportunities will be open to all students and financial assistance may be available in appropriate circumstances.
As always, students’ acceptance onto School trips will be dependent on meeting School standards of behaviour and attendance.
