Mrs Forber, Vice Principal/Designated Safeguarding Lead
Mrs Forber supports Mrs Scott in all aspects of school life working with all stakeholders to provide the best pastoral and academic provision. She has overall responsibility for the pastoral care of all students, overseeing behaviour and attitudes, Safeguarding and inclusion and providing support for any universal or additional need.
Mrs McComas, Senior Vice Principal
Mrs McComas is responsible for all aspects of curriculum development, delivery and quality assurance for all students. Her role is to ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of all students regardless of their ability and background. A key aspect of her leadership is to ensure there is a strong literacy focus across the school to ensure students have the key skills to access the curriculum and succeed in life. She leads the options process making sure Year 9 students have access to a broad range of qualifications and are provided with the necessary guidance to make informed choices. Mrs McComas line manages the Maths and EBACC faculty and is the SLT link for Year 11 ensuring they have high quality provision in preparation for their exams and their Post 16 destinations.
Mrs Robertson, Assistant Vice Principal
Mrs Robertson is a Geography specialist who line manages the Ebacc faculty as well Year 7 and whole school staff development. Mrs Robertson leads on teaching and learning to further enhance standards across school. In addition to this Mrs Robertson supports newly qualified teachers as well as more experienced teachers through Professional learning.
Ms Varkulis, Assistant Vice Principal
Ms Varkulis is the strategic lead across the school for students' behaviour and attitudes. Her role is to ensure that students value their education and have excellent attendance and punctuality habits to optimise their chances of fulfilling their academic potential and achieving strong GCSE grades. Ms Varkulis is responsible for promoting high standards of attendance, punctuality, attitude, and behaviour and ensuring that the importance of these qualities in the development of our young adults and their future life chances is well known by all stakeholders. Ms Varkulis supports all staff and students to embrace our respect culture, creating a calm and safe environment for all members in our truly inclusive community. Ms Varkulis supports all students to uphold the highest standards of themselves in all aspects of their school life. Her role involves ensuring consistency and clarity regarding school routines and expectations, ensuring students are recognised and rewarded for their continued efforts in upholding these. A key aspect of her leadership is leading our progress leaders and year mentors in their constant drive of ensuring the best possible pastoral care for our students allowing them to be the best version of themselves every day.
Mrs Woan, Assistant Vice Principal
Mrs Woan is the AVP for Inclusion, Personal Development and Well-being. She has the strategic overview of Inclusion; student support and intervention, well-being, attendance and punctuality. In addition to this, Mrs Woan also has the strategic overview of the Personal Development and Mission structure including transition. Mrs Woan is the SLT link for RE, Year 8 and Inclusion and SEND. She is a member of the safeguarding team within school. She also works in collaboration with pastoral leads within the local authority and the Archdiocese.
Mr Evans, Director Of Finance and Resources
Mr Evans oversees the operational aspects of School including the administration, information technology and site management teams. In addition to this he has responsibility for the financial, marketing and publicity, personnel as well as health and safety aspects of school. Two of his daughters attend Saints Peter and Paul and he is committed to ensuring that all of our children receive the best support and the maximum possible resources.
