the oratory

The Oratory is a dedicated specialist teaching unit tailored to support Key Stage 3 and 4 students with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, located on the same site as at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic High School.

Designed to support up to eight children of secondary school age, it features specialist classrooms and facilities including a sensory zone, kitchen, private playground area, and meeting spaces for families, health professionals, and other visitors, to further support the development and building of important life and social skills.

APPLYING FOR A PLACE AT THE ORATORY

 

Should you wish to apply for a student place at 'The Oratory', you must:

 

  • Contact your local LEA and apply through the secondary schools admissions process

 

Please note:

  • Your child must have a autism spectrum condition (ASC) diagnosis

  • Your child should have a EHCP review which would need completing by your child's primary school

  • 'The Oratory' should be named as your school of choice on the application form​
